ATARA DELGAGILLO
ATARA DELGADILLO
Atara Delgadillo is a London-based film photographer and humanitarian aid worker, originally from Mexico City, whose work is born from the "stripping away" of the self.
Her photography explores the existence of different realities, portraying how—even though we share the same world and the same fundamental emotions—we live vastly different experiences based on the beliefs we choose to subscribe to.
Through her lens, she reflects a raw, unfiltered humanity, reminding us that regardless of the structures we build, we are all human.
Her time on the frontlines has removed the veil, revealing the harsh realities of the world. Atara’s photography is an honest look at the simplicity of human life, seeking to awaken a non-selective empathy, address climate change, and social justice.
